Job Title: Referencing Administrator (Pre-Employment)
Reporting to: HR Manager
Salary Band: £16,000-£18,000 per annum
Closing Date: 4-Nov-2019
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Newark
Main Duties:
- Liaise with the recruitment team to understand the number of vacancies within the business to help plan the workload
- Keep exceptional records/tracking tools to ensure there is no room for error in the referencing processes
- Liaise with interviewing managers
- Screen application form/CV to ensure we have enough information to complete the referencing checks
- Chase for responses by telephone where necessary
- Complete paperwork/trackers accurately and in full so any member of the team can check on progress of their candidate
- Liaise with Regional Admin to ensure DBS Checks are being carried out on time and inn full – ensure you receive the complete information
- When references are returned, ensure the dates and additional information accurately tie in with the application form/CV data and escalate any issues
- Complete the pre employment signing off process when all the information has been received
- Keep managers up to date with progress, providing weekly reporting to the relevant managers
- Partake in any training that may be required
- Assist with administration within the HR Department when business needs dictate
- Visit services as and when required to ensure you are building an understanding of Eden
- Suggest and implement ways of streamlining the process
- Create a positive impact on the recruitment and pre employment checking process
- Identify the need for Risk Assessments as and when required

Requirements:
- High attention to detail
- Excellent IT Skills – particularly Excel
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience of similar role would be advantageous
- Good commercial understanding
- Ability to demonstrate passion for the role
- Confident telephone manner
- Excellent written skills (including the construction of emails)
- Flexible approach to workload and able to demonstrate a positive and professional outlook internally and externally
- Able to demonstrate the need for routine and compliance with procedures
- Ability to work under time constraints whilst balancing priorities
