Job Title: Lead Recruiter

Location: Rotherham (Regular travel to Newark and occasional travel across the business would be required)

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE)

Hours: 37.5 (Full Time)

Reporting to: Head of HR

We are currently recruiting for an exciting new role, which provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to build on the great work in which the existing team have put in place as well as being able to put their own stamp, by shaping and developing the Talent Acquisition team in line with the departmental and company KPI’s.

The post holder will be required to:

  • Lead the recruiters and manage day to day performance using the agreed KPI’s for the department
  • Carry out regular reviews/one to ones with the team to offer feedback and build development plans
  • Support and guide the recruitment team, offering mentoring, guidance and motivation
  • Oversee the recruitment process on an end to end basis
  • Review job specs and ensure we are creating attractive adverts which are aligned into the Company’s values and marketing strategy
  • Develop a clear talent acquisition strategy with the support of Head of HR
  • Allocate daily workload between the recruiters against the priorities & business needs
  • Process map and communicate internally
  • Improve the perception and “branding” of the recruitment processes and create more transparency
  • Produce and communicate weekly reports with the team detailing performance of each vacancy throughout the process
  • Report on a weekly basis to the Head of HR and recommend actions based on the available data
  • Improve the way in which data is collected and reported on
  • Explore routes to market, be innovative in the way we find and attract candidates
  • Explore testing/assessments to use in the recruitment processes based on best practice (or new, innovative practice!)
  • Monitor SLA’s & performance manage external suppliers according to the data and customer service levels the Company receives
  • Build relationships with Regional Directors and ensure we are meeting the needs of the organisation
  • Build external relationships (and encourage team to do this also) with all relevant colleges & agencies
  • Carry out the role of a recruiter by being involved in pre-screening & admin as and when required in accordance with the recruitment needs and priorities
  • Manage CV Library Account and allocate tasks with the Recruiters accordingly
  • Manage Indeed Account, reporting on reviews and ensuring we are getting value for money
  • Constantly review spend and provide stats on return on investment
  • Complete Training Needs Analysis with the support of the Head of Training to create development plans for the recruitment team
  • Work closely with the Head of HR to ensure we are recruiting to values
