HR Assistant

Base: Newark – with occasional travel to other offices or locations as required. The company are currently operating a hybrid working system therefore this role provides the opportunity to work from home at least 2-3 days per week.
Eden Futures supports people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, enduring mental ill health, autism and associated complex behavioural needs. We focus on increasing independence and empower individuals to gain or regain skills to help them live independently and recover from illness in the most unobtrusive and least restrictive manner possible.
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are recruiting for a HR Assistant to join the expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the business in providing HR Administrative support to the HR Team and wider operational departments.
The HR Assistant’s main duties will be:
• Manage the busy HR inbox and directing enquiries or actioning as required
• Coordinate the critical information and logging updates on the HR system
• Monitor new applications through the social media platform to ensure a quick response to new applicants
• Circulate key information within the HR Team or wider Operational functions as required
• Auditing of data to ensure compliance and quality assurance
• Update the Company’s intranet with key information
• Minute taking as required, this could include disciplinary and grievance hearings
• Production of daily and weekly reports
• Liaising with internal customers and responding to HR queries as the role develops
• Maintaining of staff electronic files
• General administrative duties as required
We are looking for someone with excellent and proven administration and IT skills, including Excel and Word and ideally experience within a similar role or be able to demonstrate transferable skills.
We would be happy to support further development, including the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship.
