Staff at our Mansfield supported living service have been praised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for their caring and compassionate approach in a recently published inspection report.
The service, which provides care and support for up to six people in and around Mansfield, ‘supported people to achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations’ according to the inspectors, who visited in July.
Its regional management team were praised for their clear vision about the future development of the service, with one staff member saying: “It’s a good company to work for, my experience has been good. There’s an honest and trustworthy culture.”
This positive feedback was reflected in the ratings as they deemed the service to be Good in all five areas of ‘Safe’, ‘Effective’, ‘Caring’, ‘Responsive’ and ‘Well led’, with the service gaining an overall rating of Good.
This latest result also continues the organisation’s commitment to gaining at least Good ratings across all of its 12 services, which it has now achieved.
Eden Futures registered manager, Katie Pridmore told us: “We are all extremely proud of the feedback we have received in this latest CQC report, it is testament to the hard work and dedication that the staff team here have put in over the past 12 months. We are passionate about providing high quality, person-centred care so to hear we’re getting things right is always very rewarding.
“As the Registered Manager, I receive excellent support from all levels of the organisation, including quality team, training team, and Regional Director. They help to ensure a real culture of transparency and peer support, which benefits me in my role and is having a significant positive effect on the quality of service we are able to provide here in Mansfield.”
