We support people with learning disabilities to live where they want, how they want and to have choice over who supports them. We encourage and promote the desire to master new skills and increase independence throughout a person’s life.
We utilise a range of person centred approaches which have been developed specifically for people with autism and we are proud of our partnership with the National Autistic Society who complement and strengthen our skills and knowledge.
We have achieved Autism Accreditation, an award that recognises our high standard of service provision and our systematic framework for continuous self-examination and development to continuously improve the quality of service provision for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
We use housing expertise to source appropriate housing for people with physical disabilities and our staff team use their extensive knowledge of local areas to minimise the barriers people may face when accessing all that their communities have to offer.
Using person centred recovery and support models in conjunction with the support of our expert Multi-disciplinary team and local mental health services, we promote positive mental health and enable individuals to live as independently as possible.
We can support people at every stage of the therapeutic care pathway from treatment and support under the Mental Health Act and discharge from Hospital under Community Treatment Orders, through to lifestyle support.
Care is delivered to meet the needs of the individual and is supported by 24 hour on-call assistance should needs change.
